How do migrant artists experience their creative work in Berlin? From a cultural anthropological perspective, we want to explore together what Berlin means as a hub for artists. We’ll examine questions of inspiration, opportunities for success for artists, and the role of exhibitions, but we’ll also take a critical look behind the scenes of the art world and examine issues of accessibility and exclusion.
Additionally to our research lecture we will be exhibiting visual and textile art.
